Technical Support Representative

TruCode is looking for a full-time Technical Support Representative to join our friendly, skilled team.  TruCode creates desktop, web, and SaaS applications for the healthcare industry.

TruCode is a fully-remote company. We have been successfully providing innovative products to our customers for over 10 years.  We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, no commute, and a great group of co-workers.

This position is 100% telecommute, however the candidate must reside in one of the following states: California, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.


As a Technical Support Representative, you’re primarily responsible for directly solving technical problems, both externally for customers and internally for TruCode staff.  When not engaged in direct problem resolution, you will work on IT infrastructure, maintenance, and security projects.

  • Provide escalated technical support for TruCode’s suite of products, including researching and troubleshooting application problems, remotely accessing workstations to diagnose issues, and talking clients through a series of actions to help maintain, update or resolve application issues.
  • Provide internal technical support to TruCode’s staff, including new machine provisioning as well as operating system and application troubleshooting.
  • Take ownership of issues and see problems through to resolution, ensuring that customers are kept up-to-date.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track support tickets.
  • Assist in maintaining and expanding TruCode’s network and corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Support TruCode’s application test and release cycles as needed.
  • Work hours: 9 AM – 6 PM ET

What about you?

Experience — 3 plus years of experience providing technical support for Windows and web-based software, ideally in a customer-facing environment. Prior experience working remotely is a plus.  Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.  

Skills — Technical knowledge of Windows (desktop / server) is a requirement, and of Microsoft SQL Server is a plus. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. You should have good analytical skills, be self-directed, and willing to seize the initiative to get things done. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
